W&J Defeats Lady Wolverines, 125-84 Meet Results GROVE CITY, PA, January 15, 2000--Sarah Erdos (Broomall, PA/Marple Newtown) touched first in two individual events and swam on a winning relay, but visiting Washington & Jefferson defeated Grove City, 125-84, Saturday at the College Pool. Erdos won the 50-yard freestyle (:25.69) and 100 freestyle (:56.22) and anchored the winning 400 freestyle relay (3:52.41), which included Katie McCaslin (Lafayette Hill, PA/Phil-Mont Christian), Jessica Pytlik (Glenshaw, PA/Shaler) and Brigitte Hanna (Aliquippa, PA/Hopewell). Hanna added a first-place swim in the 200 breaststroke (2:39.74). Pytlik also won the 200 butterfly (2:27.61). The Lady Wolverines fell to 2-4 in dual meets, while Washington & Jefferson improved to 7-0. |
