Lady Wolverines cruise to third win
GROVE CITY, PA, December 9, 2000--The Lady Wolverine swimming & diving team posted winners in nine of 12 events in Saturday's 118-94 victory over visiting Mount Union College.
Freshman Peggy Whitbeck (Saegertown, PA/Meadville) was the team's lone double-winner, taking the 200-yard freestyle (2:01.95) and the 200 butterfly (2:10.72). Whitbeck also swam on the winning 400 freestyle relay team.
Grove City improved its dual-meet record to 3-2 overall.
