Grove City 110, Edinboro 95


November 14, 1998--The Lady Wolverines posted their first win of the season Saturday, defeating NCAA Division II opponent Edinboro University, 110-95, in Edinboro, PA.

Freshman Sarah Erdos (Broomall, PA/Marple Newtown) led the way with three first-place finishes.  Erdos won the 50 and 100 freestyle events and swam on the winning 400 freestyle relay team.  Junior Brigitte Hanna (Aliquippa, PA/Hopewell) touched first in the 200 individual medley and 200 breaststroke.  Senior Jennifer Clepper (Carlisle, PA/Carlisle) placed first in the 200 butterfly, while freshman Courtney Heckman (Greensburg, PA/Greensburg-Salem) won the 200 backstroke.   

The Lady Wolverines, 1-2, swim at Frostburg State University in Frostburg, Maryland, on Saturday.
