Westminster 138, Grove City 96


January 21, 1999--Despite two first-place swims from freshman Sarah Erdos (Broomall, PA/Marple Newtown), the Lady Wolverine swimming and diving team had its dual-meet winning streak stopped at six as visiting Westminster swam away a 138-96 victor.

Erdos won the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events in :25.14 and :54.84, respectively.   Sophomore diver Sarah Ohlerich (Fairport, NY/Fairport) was also a double-winner, claiming both the one and three-meter diving events.

Junior Brigitte Hanna (Aliquippa, PA/Hopewell) added a win in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:35.12.  Senior Jennifer Clepper (Carlisle, PA/Carlisle) placed second in the 1,000 free with a new varsity-record time of 11:24.80.

Grove City, now 6-3 overall, hosts Fairmont State next Tuesday at 3:00 p.m.   Westminster upped its mark to 4-2.
