GCC falls to West Liberty 

GROVE CITY, PA, September 12, 2001--Lady Wolverine senior Alyssa Bradford improved to 4-0 on the season at first singles, but Grove City dropped an 8-1 decision to NCAA Division II West Liberty State on Thursday at GCC.

Bradford rallied from one set down to win 3-6, 6-3, 7-5, boosting her career first-singles record to 31-2.  Junior Lisa Oriti and freshman Megan Hulick also took their Division II opponents to three sets. 

"We played well against a very strong team," said Grove City head coach Cathy Jacobs.  "Our women have nothing to be ashamed of."

The Lady Wolverines dropped to 2-2 overall.
