IUP edges GCC, 5-4
INDIANA, PA, September 20, 2001--The Lady Wolverine tennis team dropped a 5-4 decision to
host Indiana University of Pennsylvania on Thursday.
Grove City, now 3-3 on the season, won second through fourth singles in straight sets and added a victory at second doubles. Juniors Lisa Oriti and Erika Hauge defeated their NCAA Division II opponents at second and fourth singles, respectively, and teamed to win second doubles. Sophomore Allison Atwood surrendered just two games in her victory at third singles. Senior Alyssa Bradford, this week's Presidents' Athletic Conference player of the week, suffered her first loss of the season at first singles in two hard-fought sets.
