Lady Wolverines post fourth
shutout
GREENVILLE, PA, October 2, 2001--The Grove City College women's tennis team
surrendered just three games in a 9-0 shutout over host Thiel College on
Tuesday.
The win improved the Lady Wolverines' overall record to 6-3 and marked their fourth shutout against a conference opponent. Grove City will return to Thiel for the 2001 Presidents' Athletic Conference Championship Tournament next weekend, Oct. 12-13. The Lady Wolverines are heavily favored to win their 15th consecutive league title.
Grove City will conclude its regular-season slate next Tuesday, Oct. 9, at Slippery Rock University.
