Grove City falls to Carnegie Mellon

PITTSBURGH -- The Grove City College women's tennis squad dropped a 7-2 decision to national power Carnegie Mellon Thursday afternoon.

Freshman Lindsay Hosler (Lititz, Pa./Manheim Central) won in three sets at fifth singles while the first doubles tandem of Allison Atwood (Warren, Pa./Warren) and Julie Crewson (Sylvania, Ohio/Northview) also prevailed.

Atwood, Crewson, Megan Hulick (Butler, Pa./Butler) and Nicole Leasure (Washington, Pa./Trinity) will represent Grove City (4-2) at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Southeast Championships at Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Va. this weekend.
