Wolverines blank W&J in PAC finale
WASHINGTON, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's tennis team capped the 2006 regular season with a 9-0 victory over host Washington & Jefferson Wednesday afternoon in a Presidents' Athletic Conference match at the Janet L. Swanson Courts. The victory gives Grove City a 5-0 record in league play. The Wolverines are now 8-5 for the season.
Grove City will compete in the PAC Championships Friday and Saturday at the Pennbriar Club in Erie, Pa. The Wolverines are in pursuit of their 20th consecutive league crown.
