Grove City blanks W&J

GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's tennis team improved to 8-0 overall and 5-0 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Monday afternoon with a 9-0 victory over visiting Washington & Jefferson at the Grove City College Courts.

Grove City received forfeits at both sixth singles and third doubles. The Wolverines are 8-0 for the first time since 1999. Overall, Grove City has won 12 straight matches, dating back to the 2006 season.

Grove City will pursue its 13th straight win Tuesday afternoon against visiting Geneva at 3 p.m.
