Wolverines top West Liberty in road opener
WEST LIBERTY, W. Va. -- The Grove City College women's tennis team improved to 2-0 Thursday afternoon with a 6-3 victory over NCAA Division II member West Liberty State. Grove City won each of the final four singles matches against the host Hilltoppers to clinch the non-conference victory.
It is Grove City's second straight win over West Liberty. The teams have split each of their last eight meetings.
Grove City will open Presidents' Athletic Conference action Wednesday, September 10 at Bethany. The match begins at 4 p.m.
