Grove City tops Allegheny, improves to 7-0

MEADVILLE, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's tennis team remained unbeaten Wednesday night by pulling out a 5-4 victory over regional rival Allegheny at the Gators' Robertson Complex. Grove City (7-0) won four of the six singles match to earn the victory. It is Grove City's fourth consecutive victory over Allegheny.

It is the second straight season that Grove City has started the year with at least seven consecutive victories. The Wolverines' win streak is eight, dating back to the end of the 2007 season.

Several Grove City players will compete in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regional Championships at the University of Mary Washington this weekend in Fredericksburg, Va.
