Wolverines open 2009 with win
GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's tennis team opened the 2009 season Thursday afternoon with a 7-2 victory over visiting West Liberty University in non-conference action at the Grove City College Courts.
Grove City (1-0) won two of the three doubles matches, then captured five of six singles matches. It is Grove City's third consecutive victory over the Hilltoppers.
Grove City will open Presidents' Athletic Conference play September 9 against visiting Bethany.
