Wolverines edge Oberlin
OBERLIN, Ohio -- The Grove City College women's tennis team pulled out a 5-4 victory at Oberlin Saturday afternoon in non-conference action at the Don Hunsinger Courts.
Grove City (8-2) dropped two of three doubles matches and also dropped the first two singles matches. However, sophomores Stacy Moon (Lima, Ohio/Shawnee) and Christina Bedi (Chesapeake, Va./Oscar F. Smith) both pulled out three-set victories for the Wolverines. Moon's win broke a 4-4 tie.
Oberlin won last year's meeting at Grove City 5-4 by earning a three-set win at third singles.
Grove City will visit Saint Vincent Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
