Wolverines edge West Liberty State
WEST LIBERTY, W. Va. -- The Grove City College women's tennis team opened the 2010 season Thursday afternoon by pulling out a 5-4 victory over host West Liberty State in non-conference action. It is Grove City's fourth consecutive victory over the NCAA Division II Hilltoppers.
Grove City (1-0) won two of three doubles matches and then split the six singles matches to earn the victory.
The Wolverines host La Roche Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the 2010-11 home opener.
