Grove City handles Behrend, 8-1

GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's tennis team improved to 6-3 overall Monday afternoon by picking up an 8-1 victory over visiting Penn State Behrend (7-7) in non-conference action at the Grove City College Courts.

The Wolverines won all three doubles matches and then recorded five straight-set wins in singles play.

Grove City returns to Presidents' Athletic Conference play Wednesday with a 4 p.m. home match against Bethany.
