Grove City edges Saint Vincent, 5-4

GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's tennis team improved to 4-1 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Wednesday afternoon by pulling out a 5-4 home win over defending conference champion Saint Vincent at Walters-Zbell Tennis Courts.

Grove City won two of the three doubles matches and split the six singles matches. Freshman Julie Becker (Kingsport, Tenn./Homeschooled) secured a three-set win at sixth singles to clinch the win.

The Wolverines (4-3) host Washington & Jefferson next Tuesday, October 1 at 3:30 p.m.
