Wolverines edge W&J, 5-4

GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's tennis team secured a 5-4 victory Monday afternoon over Presidents' Athletic Conference rival Washington & Jefferson by winning the decisive match that had been suspended by darkness last Thursday.

Senior Leah Thomsen (Cary, N.C./Cary Christian) earned a 6-3 win over W&J's Kathryn Chase in the final set at fourth singles Monday afternoon to give Grove City the team win.

Grove City (6-5, 4-1 PAC) hosts Penn State Behrend at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in non-conference play.
