Grove City drops to Westminster
GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision to nearby Presidents' Athletic Conference rival Westminster in non-league action on Saturday evening at the Walters-Zbell Tennis Courts.
Sophomore Taylor Bradley (Mount Pleasant, Pa./Mount Pleasant) defeated Mariah Turiano 6-3, 6-1 at fourth singles to earn the lone Wolverine win. Freshman Maggie Manchester (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport) edged the Titans' Gabby Eaborn 7-6 in the first set before falling 6-0 in the second and dropping the super-tiebreaker 10-2.
Grove City (9-10) hosts Allegheny on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in non-conference action to close out their spring season.
