Lady Wolverines Open '99 In Style
GROVE CITY, PA, September 4, 1999--The Grove City College women's tennis team opened its
'99 slate by blanking two NCAA Division II programs Saturday afternoon. The Lady
Wolverines posted 9-0 victories over both Mercyhurst College and Indiana University of
Pennsylavania.Seven of the Lady Wolverines 11 wins last year
were decided by a shutout margin.
Lisa Oriti (Brecksville, OH/Cuyahoga Valley Christian) made a stellar collegiate debut at
third singles by winning both matches without surrendering a game.
