SLIPPERY ROCK, PA, October 5, 1999--The Grove City College women's tennis team set a new
school record for wins in a season Tuesday, defeating host Slippery Rock University, 8-1,
to close the regular season 12-1 overall.The Lady Wolverines
will go for 13 -- consecutive conference championships, that is -- Friday and Saturday
when they host the 1999 Presidents' Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Championships.
