Grove City women compete at SRU

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- Junior Sally Lewis (Rochester, Pa./Freedom) captured the long jump title Wednesday afternoon at the Slippery Rock University Last Chance Meet, leading the Lady Wolverine contingent at N. Kerr Thompson Stadium. 

Lewis, the 2003 Presidents' Athletic Conference MVP, won the long jump with a leap of 18 feet, 5 1/4 inches. She also finished second in the triple jump, reaching 36-6. 

Freshman Michelle Borza (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) finished fourth in the 400 hurdles (71.08). 

Also for Grove City, freshman Hannah Colian (Salem, Ohio/Salem) took fifth in the shot put (34-10) while freshman Lauren Bigley (Washington, Pa./Trinity) placed fifth in the high hurdles (16.72).
