Four earn wins at PAC North Quad

GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's track and field team hosted Saint Vincent, Thiel and Westminster Wednesday evening in a Presidents' Athletic Conference North Quad at Robert E. Thorn Field.

Four Grove City athletes earned individual victories Wednesday. Junior Kristen Carter (Bellingham, Wash./Bellingham) won the 1500 in 4 minutes, 53.51 seconds while junior Julia Seward (Elizabethton, Tenn./Science Hill) crossed first in the 5000 with a time of 19:30.34.

Sophomore Katherine Fritz (Westminster, Md./South Carroll) cleared 1.57 meters in winning the pole vault while junior Megan Fellows (Erie, Pa./Iroquois) won the discus with a throw of 34.02m.

Grove City will compete in the Slippery Rock Open Saturday at 10 a.m. at SRU's N. Kerr Thompson Stadium.
