SRU Beats GCC, 12-3 SLIPPERY ROCK, PA, March 5, 2000--The Lady Wolverines made up seven goals in less than 24 hours, falling to host Slippery Rock 12-3 Sunday morning after dropping a 16-0 decision to the Rock on Saturday. Abby Sakowski (Cleveland Hts., OH/Cleveland Hts.) scored her team-high seventh goal of the season for GCC. Sarah Erdos (Broomall, PA/Marple Newtown) tallied her fourth of the year and Elizabeth Magee (Cincinnati, OH) added her second. The Lady Wolverines fell to 0-7 on the season. |
