Hill scores three in 9-4 loss to W&J

GROVE CITY, PA, March 30, 2001--Junior Adrienne Hill (Portville, NY/Portville Central) netted her sixth hat trick of the season, but the Lady Wolverine water polo team dropped its Grove City College Invitational opener to Washington & Jefferson College, 9-4, Friday night.

Grove City trailed 5-4 through three quarters before being outscored 4-0 in the final frame.

Freshman Jessica Zedaker (Houston, TX/Cypress Creek) accounted for the Lady Wolverines' other goal. Her twin sister, goalkeeper Julie Zedaker (Houston, TX/Cypress Creek), recorded 10 saves on 19 shots.

Grove City will play four matches Saturday beginning at 11:00 a.m. against Iona College.  The Lady Wolverines will follow with matches against Salem International University at 3:15 p.m., St. Francis College (NY) at 5:00 p.m. and Queens College (NY) at 7:30 p.m.
