GCC falls to SRU, 15-2

GROVE CITY, PA, April 4, 2001--Goals by junior Adrienne Hill (Portville, NY/Portville Central) and freshman Katie Flaherty (Suffield, OH/St. Thomas Aquinas) were all the Lady Wolverine water polo team could muster in a 15-2 loss to visiting Slippery Rock University Wednesday night.

Grove City, now 4-15 overall, will host this weekend's 12-school CWPA Southern Championship.  The 11th-seeded Lady Wolverines will open up against second-seeded Michigan University Friday at 9:00 a.m. Twenty-four matches will be contested at GCC Friday and Saturday.
