Lady Wolverines double up on Mercyhurst, 8-4

ERIE, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's water polo downed Mercyhurst 8-4 Tuesday night at Gannon University, raising the Lady Wolverines' record to 4-12.

Junior Jessica Zedaker (Houston, Texas/Cypress Creek) fired in three goals and added four steals for Grove City while juniors Katie Flaherty (Suffield, Ohio/St. Thomas Aquinas) and Tammy Hamsher (Carlisle, Pa./Cumberland Valley) both scored twice. Senior Abby Sakowski (Cleveland Heights, Ohio/Cleveland Heights) also scored for the Lady Wolverines.

In goal, junior Julie Zedaker (Houston, Texas/Cypress Creek) stopped 18 shots and also had two assists.
