Wolverines fall to Mercyhurst

NORTH EAST, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's water polo team fell to 6-9 overall and 2-3 in the CWPA Western Division Sunday with a 10-3 setback at Mercyhurst College.

Sophomore Kate Stiebler (Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington) scored twice for Grove City while sophomore Amanda Thompson (Erie, Pa./McDowell) also scored once. In goal, senior Keala Walter (Keaau, Hawaii/Newberg, Ore.) stopped 10 shots.

Grove City will host Gannon Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in CWPA Western Division.
