Grove City falls to W&J

WASHINGTON, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's water polo team dropped a 16-5 decision to host Washington & Jefferson in Collegiate Water Polo Association Division III play Saturday night at the Henry Center Natatorium.

Senior Jocelyn Hinkle fired in four goals for Grove City (1-2, 1-2) and also assisted a goal by sophomore Abby Jank (Worthington, Ohio/Thomas Worthington). Juniors Kira Okray (Bloomfield, Mich./Detroit Country Day) and Ashley Henderson (Lansing, Mich./Lansing Christian) also had assists.

Henderson also recorded three steals defensively. In goal, sophomore Mary Frank (Centerville, Md./Queen Anne's County) stopped 10 shots.

The Wolverines will visit Penn State Behrend in conference play Sunday at 11 a.m.
