Lady Wolverines take eighth in season opener

CLEVELAND, OH, September 2, 2000--Grove City placed a pair of runners in the top quarter of Saturday's Case Western Reserve Invitational and finished eighth as a team at the 12-school meet.

Lady Wolverine sophomore Morgan Kiper (Oxford, OH/Talawanda) and senior Angie Sabella (Grand Valley, PA/Tidioute) crossed 30th and 31st, respectively, in the pack of 128 women with times of 21:37 and 21:39.

Baldwin-Wallace placed first in the final team standings with 23 points.  Findley took second with 65 points, followed by Carnegie Mellon (92), Allegheny (114), Wooster (137), Case Western (149), Mount Union (204), Grove City (205), Muskingum (248), Bethany (296), Notre Dame of Ohio (302) and John Carroll (324).
