Lady Wolverines 4th at 15-team Tidewater Invitational
SALISBURY, Md. -- Freshman Elisa Pedersen (Santa Rosa, Calif./Montgomery) placed eighth while sophomore Janna Sallade (Wyomissing, Pa./Wyomissing) finished ninth as the Grove City College women's cross country team finished fourth at the 15-team Tidewater Invitational, hosted by Salisbury (Md.) University.
The Lady Wolverines collected 117 team points. Division II entry Kutztown won the event with 77 points.
Pedersen broke the tape in 22:35.25 while Sallade finished in 22:35.88. Also for Grove City, Katherine Muse (Akron, Pa./Ephrata) placed 16th in 23:08.99. Theresa Miller (Landisville, Pa./Lancaster Mennonite) took 35th, posting a time of 23:43.45. Deb Bruno (Slippery Rock, Pa./Slippery Rock) came across 57th in the 163-runner field, finishing in 24:48.43.
