Grove City women 5th at Wilmington Fall Classic
WILMINGTON, Ohio -- The Grove City College women's cross country team earned fifth place at the Wilmington College Fall Classic Friday afternoon, earning 169 team points. NAIA Cedarville won the event with 24 points.
Freshman Elisa Pedersen (Santa Rosa, Calif./Montgomery) led the Lady Wolverines with a second-place finish, completing the course in 23:35.09. Theresa Miller (Landisville, Pa./Lancaster Mennonite) took 18th in 25:03.31 while Katherine Muse (Akron, Pa./Ephrata) finished 31st in 25:43.76.
In addition, freshman Deb Bruno (Slippery Rock, Pa./Slippery Rock) came home 61st in 26:57.69 and Katie Lewis (Kettering, Ohio/Kettering) took 74th in a time of 27:15.60.
