Grove City women take 11th at Dickinson Long Course

CARLISLE, Pa. -- Led by a ninth-place finish from sophomore Elisa Pedersen (Santa Rosa, Calif./Montgomery), the Grove City College women's cross country team finished 11th out of 36 teams in the Long Course portion of the Dickinson Long Course/Short Course Invitational at Carlisle High School Saturday.

Pedersen's time of 23:40.96 helped Grove City earn 144 team points, good for 11th place. Haverford won the Long Course portion of the event with 20 team points.

Freshman Alex Anderson (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East) took 65th in 25:51.90 while Theresa Miller (Landisville, Pa./Lancaster Mennonite) placed 94th out of 203 runners.

Grove City will compete in the Carnegie Mellon Invitational next Saturday, October 11.
