Wolverines 19th at Oberlin Rumble

OBERLIN, Ohio -- The Grove City College women's cross country team placed 19th out of 40 teams Saturday at the Oberlin College Inter-Regional Rumble, which featured several of the nation's premier Division III cross country programs. Grove City earned 507 team points to take 19th. Geneseo State won the event with 54 points.

Junior Emily Rabenold (Allison Park, Pa./Hampton) led the Grove City effort by finishing in sixth place overall with a time of 22 minutes, 19.1 seconds.

Junior Stevie Huston (Greensburg, Pa./Latrobe) earned 87th with a time of 24:09.2 on the six-kilometer course while junior Emily Townsend (Tucker, Ga./Killian Hill Christian) placed 145th in a time of 24:52.3.

Senior Kara Cremean (Vermilion, Ohio/Vermilion) placed 150th (24:55.5) and sophomore Kellen McGann (Suffield, Conn./Suffield) took 164th in 25:09.1.

Geneseo State's Cassie Goodman earned medalist with a time of 22:02.2.

Grove City returns to action November 1, when the Wolverines will compete in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships at Bethany College.
