March 27, 1999--J.G. Louden (Morgantown, WV/University) tossed a five-hitter and three Wolverines homered in a 16-1 win over defending PAC champion Waynesburg.  The host Yellow Jackets evened the score in the nightcap, winning 14-3.

Derek Gearhart (West Middlesex, PA/West Middlesex) highlighted a six-run first inning with a grand slam, his first collegiate home run.  Eric Kephart (Osceola Mills, PA/Philipsburg-Osceola) and Jeff Conaway (Freeport, PA/Freeport) added their first homers of the season.  Kephart finished 3-for-3 in the game.  Louden fanned four and walked three to notch his second win of the season (2-0).

Jeff Meyers (Spencerport, NY/Churchville-Chili) provided some excitement in the 11-run loss, hitting an inside-the-park home run in the fifth.

Grove City moved to 6-2 overall and 3-1 in the PAC.  (Waynesburg 10-5, 5-1 PAC).
