HONOR ROLL FOR SPRING 2009 SEMESTER
Thirty-nine Grove City College
student-athletes are named to the
Presidents' Athletic
Conference's Spring 2009 Academic Honor Roll. Winter and spring
sports athletes who achieve a 3.60 GPA or higher during the spring
semester earn Honor Roll placement.

TEAM CoSIDA ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICA COLLEGE DIVISION JUNE 16
Grove City men's tennis player
Jeremy Dwyer earned his second career ESPN The
Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-America honor June 16. Dwyer
earned Second Team Men's At-Large distinction.
KRUSE, SEWARD EARN
CoSIDA ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT IN TRACK/CROSS COUNTRY
Grove City junior track standout
Derek Kruse earned ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA
First Team Academic All-District recognition while graduated senior
Julia Seward is a Second Team All-District
selection.

ALL-SOUTH FROM EASTERN COLLEGE ATHLETIC CONFERENCE

All-South from the ECAC while softball
player Amy Fisher is a Second Team honoree.

both earned First Team College Division Men's At-Large Academic
All-District from ESPN The Magazine and the College Sports
Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Thursday.
Senior Tim Whitbeck is a Second Team selection.
All three are repeat All-District honorees.

D3Baseball.com May 20. Magister set single-season Grove
City records with 13 home runs and 52 runs batted in this season.

TEAM ALL-MIDEAST REGION HONORS FROM ABCA MAY 19
Grove City sophomore catcher
Marcus Magister earned First Team
All-Mideast Region honors from the American Baseball Coaches
Association. It is the fourth straight season that a Grove City player
has earned ABCA All-Region honors.

America (CoSIDA) while senior Rachael Risbon is a Second Team pick.
In baseball, senior Cody Koontz, sophomore
Marcus Magister and sophomore Andrew Patterson all earned Second Team
recognition from the region's sports information directors.

HONORED AS GROVE CITY SPORTSMAN AND SPORTSWOMAN OF YEAR
Senior
Caleb Courage and senior Kristen Carter have been selected as Grove City
College's Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year, respectively, for
the 2008-09 academic year.
