Wolverines drop fourth straight
PITTSBURGH -- The Grove City College men's basketball team fell to 3-7 with a 73-63 loss to La Roche in non-conference action Saturday afternoon at the Kerr Sports Center. It is Grove City's fourth consecutive loss.
Grove City led 30-29 at the half but the Redhawks (3-5) shot 64 percent (14 of 22) from the floor in the second half. Junior forward Ryan Eller (Erie, Pa./Iroquois) fired in a game-high 20 points and grabbed a game-high seven rebounds to lead the Wolverines. Junior guard J.D. Collar (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson) added 17 points.
Junior Carlo Dorazio led La Roche with 16 points while Demetris Pringle added 15.
