Bethany bounces Grove City
GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's basketball team fell to 6-9 overall and 0-1 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference with a 68-51 home loss to Bethany (10-4, 1-0 PAC) Saturday afternoon at the Grove City College Arena.
No Grove City player scored in double figures. Forwards Chuck Cotherman (Knox, Pa./Keystone) and Ryan Eller (Erie, Pa./Iroquois) each tossed in nine points. Eller also grabbed six rebounds.
Grove City shot just 5 for 29 (17 percent) in the first half and could not recover from a 32-16 halftime hole.
Sophomore Mike Drahos led Bethany with 14 points while James Wallace added 13. Bethany out-rebounded Grove City, 38-33.
The Wolverines visit Westminster Wednesday night at 8 p.m. in PAC action.
