Grove City falls to Titans
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Grove City College men's basketball team fell to 7-13 overall and 3-4 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Wednesday night with a 90-69 loss at Westminster in Buzz Ridl Gymnasium.
Westminster (5-16, 3-5 PAC) led 42-34 at halftime and led throughout the second half.
Sophomore forward Bobby Turner (New Castle, Pa./Laurel) led Grove City with a career-high 14 points while freshman forward Daniel Zacour (Wooster, Ohio/Kidron Central Christian) added 12 points. Turner also snared six rebounds, helping Grove City own a 43-29 edge on the glass.
Mark DeMonaco led the Titans with 23 points while Nick Adams came off the bench for 18. Adams hit five of Westminster's 16 three-point goals.
Grove City will host Thomas More Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m.
