Otterbein 65, Grove City 56

December 29, 1998--Senior Michael Cratsley (Temecula, CA/Temecula) posted a game-high 15 points as the Wolverines dropped a 65-56 decision to host Otterbein College in first-round action at the "O" Club Classic in Westerville, OH.

Grove City, who trailed 33-29 at intermission, never led and fell behind by as many as 17 points at the 15:49 mark of the second half.  The deficit was trimmed to five, 58-53, with 1:43 left, before Otterbein converted 7 of 8 free throws down the stretch.

Cratsley, the Wolverines' only double-digit scorer, was 4 for 8 from the field and 6 for 6 from the stripe.  Junior Lee Huffman (Gibsonia, PA/Hampton) grabbed a team-best six boards.

Grove City, 4-4 overall, will play the loser of Carthage College (WI) and Wilmington College (OH) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.  The Otterbein Cardinals improved to 6-3.
