Bobcats Top Wolverines, 75-62 Box Score GREENSBURG, PA, December 4, 1999--Grove City shot 58% inside the arc, but just 28% (5-18) outside and 36% (5-14) at the line as host Pitt-Greensburg defeated the Wolverines, 75-62, in a non-conference match-up. Chris Kreider (Hummelstown, PA/Lower Dauphin) posted a team-high 19 points, hitting 7 of 14 from the floor, including 3 of 7 from three. Lee Huffman (Gibsonia, PA/Hampton) was the only other Wolverine in double-figures with 10 points on 4-for-5 shooting. Huffman added a team-best six boards. The two teams combined for just 13 turnovers in the game with Grove City committing a season-low five give-aways. Four Bobcats scored in double-figures led by Jason Trout's 24 points. Pitt-Greensburg shot 58% from the floor and 47% from three-point range (7-15). Grove City fell to 1-4, while UPG improved to 4-3. |
