The Grove City College Recreation
Pool has served the campus community since September 1954.
The facility also served as the competition pool for Wolverine men's swimming until December 1988 with the first swimming competition- a 58-28 Grove City victory over Fenn- being held on February 5, 1955. During that span, members of the team earned 42 All-America honors and five NCAA Diving Championships.
A six-lane, shallow-deep facility, the 25-yard by 42-foot pool is used as a warm-up/cool-down pool for the College's swimming and diving and women's water polo teams. The pool has seating for approximately 300 spectators.
In addition, the pool is utilized by the Department of Physical Education and Athletics for physical education classes.
The pool is also opened for recreational swimming to students and other members of the campus community at specified times throughout the week.
