"Student View"
by Brittany Hayward
Through the Eyes of a Grove City College Student

February 11 - February 23

Fun, social time is such a wonderful part of college life!

With pledge week finally finished for both sororities and fraternities, great celebrations have been happening all over campus.

A Night at the Theater offered a stellar show on Friday and Saturday night to benefit ICO Chicago, scheduled for this Easter.

With selections from Wicked, Rent, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Newsies students showcased their musical talents for a good cause.

With the snow beginning to thaw, it's beginning to look a lot like spring (kind of). Anyway, students are beginning to gather outside on their ways to classes and linger a bit longer in conversation.

This week GCC hosted the PAC's. Swimmers from all over the area flooded the pool where Grove City captured its third consecutive PAC's title.

We got quite the snow these past couple of weeks and students wasted no time creating this (very lifelike) representation of Howard J. Pew, the infamous statue that sits in the chapel garden.

Sitting between HAL and the STU is this enormous snowman, standing some seven feet tall. He's held up remarkably in the rain and is still standing, though now only six feet tall.

I'm so happy you stopped by to take a look at the campus through a student's eyes. It's been a pleasure putting this page together for you.

Sincerely,

Brittany Hayward

I hope you’ve enjoyed your peek at “Student View” and I invite you to stop back next week for more of the Grove City experience through the eyes of a student!
