"Student View"
by Brittany Hayward
Through the Eyes of a Grove City College Student

September 4 - 18

GCC is IM Sports Crazy!
Grove City is ranked #2 in the nation for our intramural sports program and we could not be more proud! Not only is this author involved in many a sport (Co-Ed Racquetball Champion!) but there are games going on every day - Frisbee, Football, and many many more!

Greek-a-Palooza
The first rush event of the season took place this weekend. Women from every sorority and men from every fraternity came together to listen to some music, eat some pizza, and have fun!

The OB Street Dance was the first major celebration of the year for the whole campus. Even some alumni came back to party and remember their time at Grove City.

Organizational Fair!!!
There is a place for everyone to fit in at GCC, an organization for every person's interests, talents, and skills. Orientation Board puts on this fantastic event for freshman and the rest of the campus to network with one another and make connections.

Salt Company put on Fall Fest, an annual event in HAL Courtyard complete with donuts and cider, pumpkin carving and square dancing.

SGA put on their monthly Coffee Concert where students performed original music and cover songs in the Breen Student Union. SGA provided the coffee and snacks! What a nice way to study!

I'm so happy you stopped by to take a look at the campus through a student's eyes. It's been a pleasure putting this page together for you. I am so looking forward to this coming semester and all the fun it will bring!

Sincerely,

Brittany Hayward

I hope you’ve enjoyed your peek at “Student View” and I invite you to stop back next week for more of the Grove City experience through the eyes of a student!
