Through the Eyes of a Grove City College Student

March 12 - March 28

GCC Goes Coffeehouse Crazy!

Every month, Student Government Association sponsors a coffehouse, held in the Breen Student Union. They have free coffee (or milkshakes) and cookies, and there is always wonderful entertainment!

The Spanish Club recently sponsored a coffeehouse of their own, with Spanish music and treats!

Dances and Formals Galore

Spring is here! (Though someone might think about informing Mother Nature) With spring, come dances and parties all over campus for a variety of organizations, particularly sororities and fraternities, whose annual spring formals are wonderful events!

The picture above is particularly precious. For many, Grove City College is a family affair. The Cobb's and the Price's have sent several children through GCC and alumni siblings come back to visit often!

Faculty Follies

Members of Omicron Delta Kappa, the Junior/Senior Leadership honorary, and Mortarboard, Senior Service honorary, team up with the GCC faculty for a rousing evening of folly and frivolity. The professors put on skits and sing songs to raise money for the Caroline Mohn Scholarship.

Chapel Dance

Members of the Orchesis Dance Troupe practice after the annual recital every year for their chapel dance performance. The result is a beautiful display of love for the Lord through dance!

Parties, too!

You find true friends at college. I know because mine recently threw me a surprise bridal shower. It was a blast (after I changed from falling in the mud). What a blessing girlfriends are!

I'm so happy you stopped by to take a look at the campus through a student's eyes. It's been a pleasure putting this page together for you. I am so looking forward to this coming semester and all the fun it will bring!
