How did October sneak up so fast?
Caramel Apple Sales
InterCultural Club (ICC) held their first ever caramel apple sale
this month to raise funds for an international food night and their
annual spring trip to Washington, D.C. for the Japanese Cherry
Blossom Festival. The process of making the apples was a sticky
mess, but everyone had a great time and enjoyed the break from
studying for midterms.
Coffee House SGA hosted their second coffee house of the
year, featuring music performances by lots of talented Grove City
students. Of course there was free coffee to complete the coffee
Battle of the Bands
Hosted by the Gamma Sigs and Crons, this event was a success! All
proceeds went to support the family of Alyssa Sabo - a beloved Grove
The Grove City Ballroom Club hosted their first all-campus salsa
dance. Free lessons were provided for beginners, and more
experienced dancers spun and dipped across the floor all night!
3v3 Basketball Tournament SGA and the Senior Class hosted a basketball
tournament for anyone who wanted to participate. The

Hickstoberfest The men of Hicks Hall put together a favorite
fall event - Hickstoberfest. An afternoon of
cornhole, pumpkin carving, and arm wrestling, topped
off with a pie baking contest and delicious root
beer kegs provides everyone the chance to get in
touch with their inner German.
Deas Vail Concert
The big fall music event this year was the Deas Vail
concert. Opening for the main act were the Blue
Light Bandits (Dan DeCristofaro and Joel Ansett -
Grove City College students) and Joy Ike. There was
a huge turnout of fans and students ready for a
