Through the Eyes of a Grove City College Student

February 6 - February 11

Despite the warm weather we've had recently, the snow is back!

Dr. Richard Allen Farmer
Campus was all abuzz this week with the long awaited visit from Dr. Richard Allen Farmer for the annual Christian Life Conference. Being his fifth visit to Grove City College, many people knew what to expect. Popular for his lectures and musical talent, Dr. Farmer blessed our campus with beautiful improvisations on favorite hymns, as well as thought-provoking commentary on what it means to look to the future and leave a legacy. He even invited students interested in piano on stage to watch his technique as he played.

Valentine's Coffee House
Complete with delicious cupcakes and hot drinks, the first Student Government Association (SGA) Coffee House of the semester showcased a few of Grove City's talented students. From guitars to banjos, lots of music styles filled the Breen Student Union (STU). The event was also right in the middle of rush week, so as you'll see in the fourth photo, men in suits (rushing for the Adelphikos fraternity) sat and listened intently as Tyler Crumrine played his banjo.

Thanks for stopping by! I look forward to documenting the 2011-2012 school year in photos, so be sure to drop by every week
for more of the Grove City experience through the eyes of a student!

Sincerely,

Amy Corman
