Titans halt Wolverine win streak
NEW WILMINGTON, PA, February 5, 2002--The Grove City College men's swimming and diving team had its five-meet winning streak snapped Tuesday night as host Westminster College prevailed, 114-79.
The Wolverines posted their only first-place finish in the final event as junior Bob Young (Glenshaw, PA/Shaler), sophomore Matt Gibson (Lansdale, PA/North Penn), sophomore Ryan McCracken (Dallastown, PA/Dallastown) and sophomore Drew McKelvy (Portersville, PA/Jubilee Christian) combined to win the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:23.97.
Grove City closed its dual meet schedule with a record of 7-4, marking the program's 51st consecutive winning season.
