Grove City takes 6th at Kenyon

GAMBIER, Ohio -- The Grove City College men's swimming and diving team placed sixth overall at the three-day Kenyon College Total Performance Invitational by concluding Saturday night's session with 167.5 team points. Penn won the team title with 1,455.5 points, followed by Kenyon, Carnegie Mellon, Davidson and Lake Erie.

Grove City's 400 free relay team of freshman Jordan Dehli (Moneta, Va./Staunton River), sophomore Caleb McKusick (Waconia, Minn./Homeschooled), junior C.P. Dehli (Moneta, Va./Staunton River) and senior Eric Fairchild (Corry, Pa./Corry) closed the meet by taking 10th place with a time of 3 minutes, 11.87 seconds.

Fairchild also took 13th in the 100 free with a time of 47.18 seconds. Junior Louis Gabriele (Mahwah, N.J./Don Bosco) finished 14th in the 200 breaststroke (2:09.80).

The Wolverines return to action January 12 with a Presidents' Athletic Conference dual meet at Washington & Jefferson.
