May 1, 1999--Ron Jones (Butler, PA/Knoch) and Eric Kephart (Osceola Mills, PA/Philipsburg-Osceola) banged out four hits apiece to lead the Wolverines to a doubleheader sweep over visiting Penn State Altoona before a Parents' Weekend crowd of 100 strong.

Jeff Meyers (Spencerport, NY/Churchville-Chili) got the win in the nightcap to improve to 5-1 on the year.  Chris Hussar (Newtown Square, PA/Delaware County Christian) won game one to boost his mark to 4-1.

The Wolverines rallied with three runs in their last at-bat to take the opener 6-5.   A six-run second inning keyed the 9-7 triumph.

Grove City has won seven of its last eight games and nine of 11.

Altoona fell to 15-21.
